TeamX Sports was launched in the spring of 2006 for the purpose of establishing a Youth Amateur Sports program in the Lehigh Valley.  Driven by his children's love for the game of football and disillusioned by the misguided, win-at-all cost priorities of many youth sports programs, Mike Brown, the founder of TeamX Sports set out to offer an alternative.  Guided by Christian values and respect for the demands placed on the family, TeamX Sports' launched the first Youth NFL Flag Football program in Quakertown Pennsylvania. Within a few short years, TeamX YNFL Flag Football in Quakertown grew to the largest Youth NFL Flag program in Pennsylvania. 

Based on principles of fun-first, equal playing time for everyone, and promoting character as more important than “the win,” others began to take notice, and by the end of 2012 two additional locations were up and running.

As of today, TeamX Sports offers basketball,and its popular Youth NFL Flag Football to over 1800 families a year in three different locations: Quakertown, Bethlehem and Orefield. 

2016 is shaping up to be another busy year with plans to launch a fourth Youth NFL Flag Football program at Calvary Church of Souderton. In addition momentum continues with our Play20 Initiative, a program in development which seeks to train and equip coaches to coach sports through 20 character traits.

In Late 2022 Founder Mike Brown passes the Torch to TeamX sports to sports Director Rob Carpenter. Rob is a disciplined man, dedicated to the core values upon which TeamX Sports was founded. He is passionate in this new role and possesses a vision for where the organization can be steered in the years to come.
