What does the X symbolize in TeamX Sports?

Although X can symbolize many things, for TeamX Sports the X has a dual meaning. We wanted to associate our sports programs with  Xcitement. Not all that different than the X that is symbolized in the Xgames or Sports Xtreme. With teamX Sports we strive to create a fun and eXciting program for everyone.

But at a deeper level and perhaps a much less known symbolization of the letter X is its association with Christ. Did you know that X comes from the Greek letter Chi, which is the first letter of the Greek word Χριστός, translated as "Christ".

So what does Christ have to do with TeamX Sports? Christ is our supreme role model. As a Christian organization TeamX Sports is committed to upholding Christian standards of service. From organization, to communication, to game day participation, Christ is the X factor in TeamX Sports.
